Mother Clilia Morning Star High School
Mother Clelia Morning Star High School, located at 70 Hunter Ave. in Pensacola, Florida, is a private Catholic institution dedicated to providing a faith-based education for students with exceptionalities. Established in 2020, the school serves ninth through twelfth graders, as well as students up to age 21, focusing on both academic instruction and life skills development to prepare students for independence and success after high school.
In July 2024, Mary Lambeth, Ed.S., was appointed as the school's principal. Prior to this role, she served as vice principal at Little Flower Catholic School in Pensacola and has over two decades of experience in education within the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, including positions as a teacher, band director, director of religious education, and vice principal.
Under Lambeth's leadership, the school has initiated significant expansion projects to enhance its facilities and accommodate a growing student body. In January 2025, the school broke ground on Phase 3 of its campus development, a 4,400-square-foot facility projected to open in the summer of 2025. This expansion will include a full-scale science lab, a career readiness training room, additional classrooms, and offices, increasing the school's capacity to serve up to 70 students.
Mother Clelia Morning Star High School's commitment to integrating students with exceptionalities into the broader Catholic educational community is exemplified by its sister-school relationship with Pensacola Catholic High School, offering opportunities for inclusion classes and shared resources.
For more information, you can visit the school's official website at mshspensacola.org.
